THE STORY OF US
An Exclusive Preview of a Once-in-a-Generation Historic Exhibit
Step into history during this special preview and behind-the-scenes presentation from the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum. Attendees will get an inside look at treasured documents and rarely seen artifacts that have shaped the course of our nation.
During the program, several remarkable original documents will be discussed, including the Louisiana Purchase, the Missouri Compromise, and the German Instrument of Surrender, along with other historic pieces featured in The Story of Us traveling exhibit.
The presentation will be led by Cassie Pikarsky, Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum. Cassie brings a dynamic and engaging style to the stage, offering thoughtful insight—and a bit of humor—while sharing the stories behind these historic documents and the role they played in shaping American democracy.
