Please join us at El Plato Mexican Grill & Cantina, 22 SW 3rd St., Lee's Summit, MO, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., as we support a locally owned business and hear from owners Fredy, Ibet, and Alexa Rivera about their passion for food, entrepreneurship, and how they support the community. 

This will be a no-host lunch, with each attendee responsible for purchasing their own meal and beverage as a way to directly support the Rivera's business and build a meaningful connection with them. 

RISE Committee meeting locations will vary each month. Please register in advance to get notification if you plan to attend meetings. Thank you! 

RISE Committee Purpose: Educates and creates opportunities within the Lee’s Summit Chamber to strengthen connections, encourage engagement, and support the growth of a thriving, welcoming, and connected business community. 

Goals: 

1. Provide Education: Offer quarterly Business and Bagels workshops that deliver practical insights, tools, and conversations to help businesses navigate today’s evolving business climate and position themselves for success. 

2. Build Relationships: Strengthen relationships with a diverse range of Chamber members to encourage participation, foster connection, and increase engagement across the business community. 

3. Collaborate and Engage with Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate and engage with key community partners (i.e. City of Lee’s Summit, LSR7, community colleges, nonprofits, and other organizations) to align efforts that strengthen the local business climate and positively impact the Lee’s Summit community.
